ChipTrail (the "app") is made by Satoshi Nguyen ("I", "me"). This page explains what the app stores, where it is stored and why.
In short
- Your poker records stay on your phone unless you turn on backup.
- An account is optional. It is only used to back up and restore your data.
- No ad networks, no tracking, and I never sell or share your data.
Data kept on your device
Sessions, results, locations you add, hand notes, player notes, tags and settings are stored in a database on your device. I cannot see this data.
Account and backup (optional)
If you sign in with Apple, Google or email:
- I receive your email address and an account ID. If you use Sign in with Apple and hide your email, I receive a private relay address instead.
- The app uploads a backup of your app data (the same data listed above) to a private folder that only your account can read. The 5 most recent backups are kept.
- Backups and account data are stored with my hosting provider, Supabase, in Singapore.
Location
If you allow it, the app uses your location on your device to sort tournament events by distance. Your location is not sent to my servers. You can choose a city instead.
Tournament events
Tournament schedules come from public sources and organisers. Downloading them does not require an account. Like any online service, the hosting provider may log technical data such as IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.
Notes about other players
Player notes can describe other people. They stay on your device and in your private backup and are never shared. Please keep them respectful and do not record sensitive personal information about others.
What the app does not do
- No ad networks and no advertising identifiers. Featured tournaments in the Events tab are placements I choose myself and involve no tracking.
- No third-party analytics or tracking tools.
- No access to your contacts or photos.
- No selling, renting or sharing of your data.
Crash reports
If you allow Apple or Google to share diagnostics with app developers, I may receive anonymous crash reports through App Store Connect or Google Play Console.
Deleting your data
- Data on your phone: delete the app.
- Account and backups: in the app, open Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also request deletion without the app at
https://chiptrail.app/delete-account. Deletion in the app is immediate; requests by email are completed within 30 days.
Age
ChipTrail is for adults of legal gambling age in their country, and at least 18. It is not directed at children.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy, correction or deletion of the data linked to your account by writing to the address below.
Changes
Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new date.

- 備份與帳號資料存放在我的主機服務商 Supabase 位於新加坡的伺服器。
位置
若你允許，本 App 會在你的裝置上使用位置資訊，依距離排序賽事。你的位置不會傳送到我的伺服器。你也可以改為選擇城市。
賽事資料
賽事時間表來自公開來源與主辦單位，下載時不需要帳號。與所有網路服務一樣，主辦服務商可能為了安全與防止濫用而記錄 IP 位址等技術資料。
關於其他玩家的筆記
玩家筆記可能描述其他人。這些筆記只存在你的裝置與你的私人備份中，絕不會被分享。請保持尊重，不要記錄他人的敏感個人資料。
本 App 不會做的事
- 不使用廣告聯播網，不使用廣告識別碼。「賽事」頁中的精選賽事由我自行挑選，不涉及任何追蹤。
- 不使用第三方分析或追蹤工具。
- 不存取你的通訊錄或照片。
- 不出售、出租或分享你的資料。
當機報告
若你允許 Apple 或 Google 與開發者分享診斷資料，我可能會透過 App Store Connect 或 Google Play Console 收到匿名的當機報告。
刪除資料
- 手機上的資料： 刪除本 App 即可。
- 帳號與備份： 在 App 中開啟「設定 → 帳號 → 刪除帳號」。你也可以不透過 App，在
